Memorial Day Campout

I finally got around to uploading the pictures Todd took from the campout. They are all from that morning when he was out there with the 3 boys. He tried to go out in the evening to spend the night for the first time but spent most of the time trying to get his keys out of his locked car and then had to drive to the hospital because of his dad's heart attack. So hopefully my husband didn't put a damper on anyone's evening and he'll have to try it again next year. The boys had a blast out there that morning though and the weather was awesome.

Here's Joe with his pair of big ones.

If that doesn't make you hungry, I don't know what will.

Ty had no problem picking those guys up.
The boys had a ball with their water blasters.
Uncle Jay took Drew out.

But Blake had Drew's back.

Not sure what's goin' on here.

Happy Belated Birthday Danny!

Since Saturday was moving day, there wasn't a whole lot of time for blogging purposes. At that point, I also didn't know I could steal wireless from my neighbor. Score! So now it's Monday morning, and we are two days late, but still....Happy Birthday Danny! He said that getting our house was the best birthday present he could have received. I think that's probably true. He spent his birthday moving and unpacking and trimming bushes. He worked harder than I've ever seen anyone work, but he had a smile on his face the whole time. Finally after working all day long, he was able to relax on our back deck with an O'Douls surrounded by his friends and family. Sounds like a pretty good day!

Blogger isn't letting my pictures post, so oh well. We are looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

ONLY 11 MORE DAYS

Only 11 more days until Brian and I get married. Yes, I am finally getting excited and nervous about all the details that I still need to take care of. My mom and I worked on table seating tonight. If you don't like who you are sitting by too bad. :) We are all getting excited except my dad who is just being a pain in the @$$. Brian and I are looking forward to sharing our big day with everyone.

Kristen has a job

I just wanted to let you guys all know that I have a job for next year in Colona, Ill. The neat thing is I will be on a balanced school schedule where I get two weeks off in October, December and March plus seven weeks in the summer. I will be teaching Title 1 and Reading Recovery. I will have to be trained for Reading Recover in Moline but I am looking forward to the new learning experience. Colona is about 25 miles from our house but it's all interstate so it's an easy drive. That is a huge load off my shoulders and I am excited about this new challenge plus I get to keep my Illinois teachers' retirement that I've already worked five years for. Now only 18 more days until the wedding.

Nate, The Graduate

The big day has arrived and the Bozarth and Klauser clan made the trek to Charleston IL to celebrate with Nate. I have to warn you, I took a ton of pictures so I tried my best to not overload you all while being to show as many highlights of the trip as I could. You can see other pictures on campus that mom and dad took on their trip in March HERE.

Nate started off by taking us on a tour of campus. It was really nice place and very well kept.

This first picture is of all of us outside of the Lumpkin school of business and Coleman Hall. (sorry, I snicker every time I say Lumpkin, say it with me..... Lumpkin)

This is by far the coolest building on campus. How many people can say they have a castle??
We found a wall of concrete stairs and had Nate and the kids all pose on it. This wasn't quite what I had in mind, but at least they are all in the picture!
Another picture by the '09 rock.

A picture of the library. Nate said this is where he took most of his dumps for the past two years since they never have toilet paper in his house. Now THERE'S a fond memory of the library!
The Sibs. Taken right before graduation in front of Nate's house.

Following this picture the 5 of us drove over to graduation. I can't remember when I last sat in the back seat of mom and dad's car with my two brothers but I'm sure there was a lot of "he's looking at me" and "she hit me" going on.

The grads filing in. Nate is in there somewhere but I can't point him out at the moment. We had great seats in the balcony overlooking the stage and podium. We had a great view when it was Nate's turn to walk on stage.

Nate Graduated!!!

My Baby Brother. I was having a hard time seeing here, I think I got something caught in my eye. If only I had gotten a picture of mom crying, she was so proud.

Nate and The Proud Parents
Nathan Bozarth, College Graduate
Jerry's, where Nate bartends and delivers pizza. It just seemed fitting that we go there afterwards to eat and celebrate. They had great pizza and we had a lot of fun. Nate's friend Chris joined us also.
Nathan, we are so proud of you and I'm so happy we were all able to make the trip to see you and celebrate this milestone with you. It's hard to believe this adorable little guy is already all grown up.
I love you.

How Blonde Am I??

Don't answer that.

The locks in our van have been acting up lately, usually just the one in the back left side. I've figured the trick to unlocking it but it is often a pain. Well now the driver's side door is acting up. You can click the "unlock" button on the remote over and over and all of the doors will unlock except for the driver's side. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, very frustrating. So I was telling Todd the other day how embarrassed I was when twice in one day, the driver's side door wouldn't unlock and I had to climb in the back door and climb up into the driver's seat. Todd just looked at me and said, "Why didn't you just use the key to unlock the door??" DUH Kelly!!! You get so used to doing everything the electronic way, you sometimes forget the basics of putting a key into a lock. Sure enough, now when the door won't unlock with the remote, I just slide that key into the lock and unlock the door. AMAZING! My husband is a genius.

Wedding gifts

Wanted to send a picture of Kris and Brians wedding gift that Tim made for them. It is so beautiful, I wish you could all see in for real. He has really outdone himself. Everything he makes gets better.

It has beveled glass in the doors and glas shelves. The handles and hinges have the old ice box look. Kris saw one similar at Harveys and Tim made one to look like it.

Wasn't sure if I ever sent a picture of Craig and Megan's wedding gift that Tim made for them. It is a corner hutch made of walnut and is equally beautiful. I'm sure both items will be treasured for generations to come.
