Veterans' Day

A big salute to Rob and Jake--two in our family who are currently serving in the armed forces. We're proud of you guys.

I believe today used to be called Armistice Day, and it celebrated the end of WW1. I'd love it if we could celebrate the end of all war, so that our boys could be peacekeepers. Love you, Rob. And Jake, I hope you are doing well.

For Jessi

Girl, you are going to have the best time of your life at the concert tonight. Seeing them twice wasn't enough!! Here's how close to them we were when they were on the rotating circular stage.

They're singing "Dirty Dancing". Can you hear Erica and I screaming??? I took this video right before I fell off of my chair. Literally.

Sunday Paper

If you haven't seen the Qcy paper today, you might want to check out pg 16A:)

Or you can head to my blog to check it out too:)

Twitter

As if I needed something else to do, I'm now on Twitter. It's fun. I found Jeff on it but he's never posted. Also found Adam, but no one else from the family. If you're on Twitter, I'm jerilyn65.

Houses

I am so excited for mom and dad to sell their house and move into their new beautiful home. I'm excited to have family get togethers there and holidays there.

So how come when I saw their house listed for sale in the paper today I felt a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach? I have a feeling moving day will be a little hard for me.

Title

C'mon. No one has commented on the blog title. Don't you think Bozarth Blahg is clever? And it doesn't infringe on Joe's copyright.

I Believe.....

I believe that democracy is alive, that my vote counts, and that I can make a difference.
I believe that ice cream for breakfast is ok on Saturday mornings, and that there is nothing wrong with eating cookie dough out of a tube.
I believe that animals instinctively know when something is wrong and can always comfort you.
I believe that a hug from a child has healing powers.
I believe that mistakes are made but I’m sorry can go a long way.
I believe that if a food is unnaturally orange, it probably tastes amazing.
I believe that the beginning to a day is more fun than the end, but that a sunset is better than a sunrise.
I believe that family is everything.
I believe that Christmas presents should always be wrapped because it makes it so much more fun.
I believe that not much is better than a good afghan and a good book.
I believe that it’s ok to admit it when you’re wrong, but that everyone should know how to stand up for what they believe in.
I believe that a good vocabulary will get you far, but that you should carefully choose your words.
I believe that cheesecake should be a food group, that Taco Bueno is better than Taco Bell, and that Danny is a grill master.
I believe that you only get one great love, and that you better be smart enough to hold on to them.
I believe that Grandma hears me when I visit her at the cemetery, and I could swear that sometimes I can feel a hug.
I believe that you need to marry your best friend.
