Thanksgiving Dinner

Last night we had our Thanksgiving dinner at mom and dad's house. As we sat down to eat, Dad says "This is our last Thanksgiving in this house" I laughed and said "That's what you said last Thanksgiving".

Last year on Thanksgiving Dad made a little speech about it being our last one in the old house and started getting teary and emotional. We were all laughing at him thinking he was being silly as usual. Once we realized he was serious, we all felt really bad! They thought they'd be in their new house by this time, this year. So some bad weather and cancer delayed their dream a little bit. But mom and dad persevered through it and are just a small step away from moving into their new house. The important thing is, Dad is healthy and we are going to have the best Christmas ever in their new house!

Praise the Lord that John is healthy. It will be the best Thanksgiving ever.

After his 'No Big Deal' surgery, I feel EXTRA thankful. I will be offering up prayers of thanks for answering all the prayers we made in John's name this year. May God Bless us all with good health in 2009 and beyond.

Good luck with your move into your new home and have fun creating new memories there. It has been fun watching it come to fruition

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO A GREAT FAMILY THAT I AM TRULY THANKFUL FOR EACH DAY!
