Flashback Friday

In Cindy's email yesterday she mentioned my dad's scrapbook and I remembered I still had all of those old pictures scanned in on my computer. I went through and found all of the ones that were taken at Hazelwood Ct. Of course, then plenty more came to mind so I will have to scan more in as a flashback to my dear friend, 51 Hazelwood Ct (sorry it will always be 51 to me)

Dad and I sharing a snack of popcorn and goofy faces.

Nate in the maroon Jeep....that was still my all time favorite vehicle....taking rides out to Siloam with the top off---heaven! (note the red siding)
Dad and Blake playing the slots....gotta start them young.

Back when it was legal to build fires in your back yard. We'd burn the leaves and roast hot dogs. I loved doing this.

The new jeep. A lot of fun but I still loved that maroon one. There's my old crab apple tree in the background. Every year I'd pick those crab apples for Grandpa Boz and it wasn't till years later that I learned he never ate them. I didn't realize they were sour nastiness.

Jay,Joe, and Dad celebrating their bdays. Matt's smiling because he just crapped his pants and I'm on the putrid green rotary phone. I bet it was Grandma Reba.

Dad's little hunters
Easter-- I think 1996
Christmas 2007

More pictures to come.......Feel free to post any Hazelwood pics.

You nailed this post....#51 was a great place to be...I loved all the pictures, but you should have had some of the Thompsons too. We've all had lots of good time there...and now lets move the party to #601

These pics make sense of why when I get mad at Blake or Ty I often find myself calling them "Nate"

And oh, how I love Jeeps! That pic with Nate is one of my all time favorites, I've recreated that one plenty of times with my own kids after I wash and take top off...

Love the pics. Love that house. I already told Danny that I was going to do a drive by this weekend just to see it again. Lots of great memories there!

Matt--that picture where Joe is holding you---you are smiling a lot like Ty in that one!

Miss the jeeps more than I miss the house! Red siding-now that is going back! I agree The thompsons should be somewhere-they were the REAL Hazelwood,,,,,

I liked the neighbors who lived there after the Thompsons. Two young children and a dog. Can't remember their names.
